Rocking chairs on the front porch are the first of many hospitable touches at this a 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath cottage located in the picturesque community of Reynolds Lake Oconee. Throughout its two levels of cozy interiors, Parkview Cottage invites guests to unwind while being surrounded by championship greens and 376 miles of shoreline at Georgia’s second largest lake.
Plenty of natural sunlight flows through the open-concept terrace level with hardwood floors. Move seamlessly from the kitchen, with its granite counter tops, built-in appliances, and ample cabinet storage, to the dining area that seats 6. Three barstools at the extended counter are perfect for grandkids or latecomers to breakfast.
The living area features a soft leather sofa, two oversized armchairs, gas fireplace, and wall-mounted flatscreen TV. A trio of sliding glass doors connects to the screened-in back porch that that overlooks a tree-shaded park accented by paved walkways, gazebo, and a picnic table. You may be content, though, to sit back in the cushioned rattan chairs and sip lemonade underneath the cool breeze of three ceiling fans, each controlled by remote.
Completing the terrace level are a powder room, coat closet, and laundry area with new full-size washer and dryer.
The second level offers a quiet retreat among three bedrooms. The master suite boasts a plush queen bed, walk-in closet, reading nook, and wall-mounted flatscreen TV. The en suite bath is awash in natural light which illuminates the generous linen storage, jetted garden tub, and glass-enclosed shower with rain shower head.
Across the staircase landing are two guest bedrooms, one outfitted with two comfortable extra long twin beds ideal for kids, teens or even adults and the second sleeping up to two on a queen bed. Both rooms share a full bath with a large granite vanity, soft linens, and a shower that comes with a rain shower head.
Whether guests are pining for a getaway filled with golf, fishing, boating, or watching peaceful sunrises, Parkview Cottage is convenient to all of it and situated just minutes from local shopping and dining. Right outside the gates of Reynolds Lake Oconee are Publix, PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans, The French Hare interiors, and several neighboring boutiques. A few minutes south on 44, explore Harmony Crossing, home to some of our favorite cafes, restaurants, and retail shops. We also recommend visiting the historic districts of downtown Eatonton and downtown Greensboro. Be sure to check out the local events, festivals, and farmer’s markets, too!
