Great Waters at Reynolds Lake Oconee is defined by beauty, excellence, and luxury. Its level of distinction is reflected in one of our premier vacation rentals, Park Place, located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Waterside Village. This immaculate 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home is so thoroughly renovated and tastefully furnished that your stay will be more than a getaway; it will feel like a true resort experience. In addition to the interior beauty of Park Place, its ideal location puts you within a short walk of the marina, pool, tennis courts, and sandy beach.
Walking into the open floor plan on the main level, you will find a newly (2022) renovated gourmet kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and ample cabinet space. It also stocks plenty of cookware, glassware, flatware, dishes, a coffee pot, toaster, and blender. The dining table seats 8 with room for 2 more at the breakfast bar. During mild weather, the screened porch is a hub of activity, from barbecuing on the gas grill to relaxing under the ceiling fans in the two lounge chairs or enjoying a gnat-free picnic at the 4-seat table.
The living area is a cozy gathering spot for fireside chats or catching up on your favorite shows on the 55” flat screen TV. Just down the hall is a guest bathroom and a new full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room.
On the second level, you can retire to privacy in one of three bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Each bedroom is thoughtfully decorated and supplied with a ceiling fan, TV, and closet. Queen beds are found in the master and one of two guest rooms. The second guest room sleeps more with both a queen and a twin. The bathrooms have been renovated with new tile floors, glass-enclosed tile showers, and granite vanity tops. Each is accessorized with brushed bronze soap dispensers, amenity trays, vanity mirrors, and a powder niche.
There is not much left to the imagination at Park Place. You will truly be able to put your feet up in this charming cottage located in the heart of the Great Waters community. With so much comfort inside and so much to do right outside your door, you may not have much reason to leave! However, if you are curious to check out local life, Park Place is just minutes away from Harmony Crossing, home to some of our favorite cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. Travel north on Highway 44 to stock up at Publix, enjoy breakfast at Café 44, or try one of the blends from PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans. We also recommend visiting the historic districts of downtown Eatonton and downtown Greensboro. Both have mom-and-pop cafes, restaurants, and retail stores that are locally owned and operated. Be sure to check out the local events, festivals, and farmer’s markets, too!

This property was very clean. Lots of towels and the best appointed kitchen we have rented. Only suggestions would be seating on the front porch (maybe a few rockers) to enjoy the lake view and more seating on the screened in porch given the number of guests the home accommodates. We had a wonderful stay and would stay there again for sure!

I'm terrible about remembering to review my stays and items I purchase but I wanted to be sure I didn't forget this one. We had the best time and loved this home. It was clean and stocked with anything and everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. We went with a few friends as a little weekend trip and we are all in agreement that we would do it again. Conveniently located to everything and in a nice, quiet community. If you are thinking of booking, you won't be disappointed with this home and St. James!

The Golf Cottage was cute and clean. It is in a lovely neighborhood and a quick drive to great restaurants! Greensboro, has a lovely farmers market to explore. It was a short drive from the cottage to explore nearby Madison, which has greatrestaurants and shops. The screened porch was a favorite place to wind down after exploring ! Enjoy!

This property was very nice for the getaway we wanted. It is a beautiful home that is furnished very nicely, and it was spotless on our arrival. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, and cooking stuff. Great location for golfand country club access. If bringing or renting a boat, there is a marina about a 8-10min walk away, and community docks about a 5min walk away. It’s a short walk to docks but can be cumbersome if you go back and forth with gear/coolers a lot. That’s not a complaint, just advisory...we managed just fine. Amy, with St James Vacation Homes was very pleasant to work with and double checked that the home was clean and stocked prior to our arrival. Much appreciated.

the Home worked out well for us and we would stay again if we get back to Reynolds Plantation. We were short on soap for showers for the period of our stay and had some issues getting the coffee maker figured out. Would suggest going to Keurigpods only because it is simple, doesn't create much of a mess and people have to buy coffee if they want to have it during their stay.
